I think everyone accumulates crap fairly equally, you just notice it more when you have to constantly go through it and move.

I wouldn't do the peanut butter thing though because some kids are severely allergic to peanut butter and if the dog licks them or breathes on them it could be really serious, but it's fun to imagine....
