I just found out about this Sure Start Program for 4 year olds. Does anyone have their little one in this program on Kadena? Is it like a Pre-School? Good Reviews...Bad Reviews?? 

I was actually looking for information on this as well. :) Our 4 year old is impatiently waiting to go to "school". lol 

I have my daughter in a preschool offbase, but I don't think that it's challenging her...She's so bright. I just want to make sure that I'm not missing any eduational opportunities for her. I looked up a lil bit of info online about the Sure Start Program, but I like to get real feedback from real parents.

I will be putting my daughter in sure start next year on Foster. 

I had my son in sure start at bob hope and I have to recommend it. Lori is great with the kids and they learn a lot. My son had learned how to write his name, colors, patterns, basic math logic and concepts and how to read a few of the first 100 sight words. It really helped him to become used to a school schedule too, so kinder wasnt a big shock for him. 

My daughter goes to Bob Hope and the sure start teacher there is Ms. Lori Bevil. She's awesome!
