Does anyone know if there is anywhere on the island to get "Cold Fusion Hair Exztensions" done? I don't want them braided, or glued. Any info will help :)
From what I've seen, those little 1-inch braid extensions are REALLY popular out here. Guess there's no need for other methods :( I personally like the little braids too, its still a lot of versatility
i had them, and after a month they were way past due to come out. i was kinda of disappointed. i have alot of japanese friends who have them and keep them in forever. but i didnt have good luck when them. when i took them out, half of my hair came out with it :( i finally have all my hair bad. ugh. i want super long hair so badly.
Did you get them in a texture that didn't match your hair? I discovered that I didn't have as good of results with them when I put in straight hair, because my hair is naturally curly. I had to straighten around extentions and that wasnt good at all.
ehh maybe. i have straight hair and i used straight hair, but my hair has the slightest little wave in it, so that may have messed it up. but i tend to brush my hair from the scalp, and when i had the extension, I was getting the brush stuck in the braid, so that destroyed me hair :( it was probally my fault, it just didnt work for me. i was researching cold fusion extensions and they seem amazing. i know thats what all the models use, and they are much easier.
word. lol
my hair has grown ALOT since its been here, but now i want it longer. the first couple days i had the extensions they looked AMAZING. i was super happy, but they just didnt last :(
Yea my hair used to be up to my neck when I first cut it and that was back last april, Now its a little below my shoulders, but I want it super long so I can layer it. :)
mine is to the middle of my back, but i have fine hair, i have to get it trimmed, like badly, but i want it to be long so im pushing it off. but i am going to try to get it done next week. just a tiny trim haha. but i want it thicker and longer, so like you said, to layer it.
ha ha me too, My husband has told me to trim it because supposedly it'll help it grow longer faster but I keep pushing it off too. :P making appointments here suck because you have to wait so long. bleh.
I know the feeling. I started growing my hair out too when we came here, but I got WAY too happy with it, and ended up breaking it off! lol too much heat and products. Now I REFUSE to straighten my hair except on rare occasion, and I should reach my goal by winter :)
haha! my hair tends to fall out more when i need a trim, and my husband is always complaining about my hair . its super funny to mee. i am trying to make an appointment with the lady on lester. i need my highlights and a trim badly. but i had to wait until i got paid, which is thursday. so hopefully :)
LMAO!!!!
Yea my husband calls it shedding. He's like, "Krystle your shedding all over the place... " or he'll pick up a string of hair and be like "krystle..." ha ha yea I laugh it off as well.
ahhh same here. thats so funny. im like well, ive been telling you i need a hair cut! i was suposed to go last week, but im in the process of getting a new car. so i couldnt make the appt.
he has offered. haha, jokingly of course. i don't trust the salons here to do it, so ive been putting it off. my sister is an AMAZING hair stylist in NYC, so she has done my hair until i came here, and i only get it done when i go on leave, but i need it done badly! it sucks :(
I havent gotten my hair cut in a year because I've been trying to let it grow. Yea I wouldnt trust the people on base to cut my hair either... I dont want a supercut haircut :(
The last time I trusted someone with scissors, I lost 5 inches and ended up with a jagged a** haircut where what used to be layers ended up being the longest pieces of hair.....and those were in the front. Now that its grown out some, it doesn't look nearly as bad. I cried and cried though, cuz I had almost reached my ideal length. I only had an inch or two left to go at the time :(
I got my bangs cut for me here on KAB and the woman did such an awful job. They were really long and stringy and she started them far too close to my hairline so I had to suffer for months with a weird mullety thing :
I've also been growing mine out since getting to the island when I first got here mine was just below my chin and now it is 2in from my boobies :D
I do need a trim though but everytime I get one done they lop it off to my chin and my hair isn't even damaged! I just have weird layers (from tons of bad haircuts) that make it "appear" broken. But if you look at it up close it's super healthy with only breaks up maybe a cm.
lol i cut my bangs once and lets just say after that no more, the lady at visible changes was like, "who cut your hair?" and I was like, uh... I forgot. it's been awhile. and she was like, yea, they messed up alot. >:(

exactly. they always cut off too much.
I know and it always puts me ina foul mood.
I miss my salons back in Korea. I had two places I regulared off base that were fantastic. I'd get a 5000Won (5$) haircut at this one place - and he did the most amazing jobs ever! and Then I'd go to this other place that did the BESTBESTBEST colours and highlighting I've ever seen.
D:
I want to find places like that over here but this place isn't as walkable as Korea.
Whenever I can grow my hair out past my boobs and when I lose my weight :D That's when I'm getting a complete hair make-over and nails and the new wardrobe :o
