My internet downloads are ridiculously slow here in base housing and really want to dump Mediatti, but I don't know if that is even an option. Anyone here have a similar problems with downloads? How about using another provider? 

i kno u can use konnect suposibly they are really high speed who knows ive never tried them they are right next to mediatti on foster 

we have konnect and it doesnt seem to be as slow as mediatti..but it is slow 

Thanks, I'll have to look into Konnect. I was recently TDY to Korea, and on thier wireless, I noticed that I was getting speeds 6X faster than what I get here. What normally takes me 7 hours to download here at home, over there I was finished in about 20 minutes for a 7GB file. After that I just can't get over how slow the internet is here on base. 

We had both here in the house to see which was faster because the DSL was so slow. Cable is definitely faster, most of the time, but we constantly got kicked offline. 

I was upset with the same situation a while back and went to go and try to use Konnect, but they only service foster. YAY MONOPOLY 

Well it looks like the power outage reset the mediatti servers and now the internet is running fast (although it still can't compare to what is available off base). Too bad they don't do something about it so that the server are always running at top speed.
