my family wants to send us gift cards for places like: popeyes, subway, BK. Just wondering if there good here. 

Don't know for sure.... but I don't see why they wouldn't be. If you are worried about it then Just tell them to send you a money order then you can cash it and use the money at those places or where ever you want. 

We used a Mac Grill gift card here so I don't see why not.
