I'm not. I've done just about everything I'm interested in doing on this hot as f*ck island. I'm bored with it.
I meant Casey. I didn't even read after that comment :-/
Okinawa is what u make of it: U can visit lots of other Asian countries at a really low price.
if u like the club life, then NAHA may be ok...
Get some sort of volunteering going...

Um, there's a lot of fun stuff and culture here too. You don't HAVE to leave the island in order to enjoy your tour here.

yes yes...but trying to stay on island for 3 years and not go anywhere else....and still be sane? LOLOLOLLLLOLOLOLL....coco...coco....;)
I've been on island for a little over a year and I think I would go nuts if I had to do the full 3 year tour. There is only so much you can do here. To make it more exciting I think one should take advantage of the other tours. J M O.

Once again, I don't get this thinking. Are you constantly leaving the state that you live in? There's PLENTY to do here, not everything has to be a tourist venture. Live life like you would in the states!!!
OTR, have you actually gone out and hung out with some of the locals? There's a lot of culture and beauty here, believe it or not.

No, but Walmart is bigger than this island.
not everything has to be a tourist venture
of course not, but it only took 2 months to see all the tourist places.
Live life like you would in the states!!!
Umm...well....there is only so much you can do here. I can't drive to Disney World, Schlitter Baun, Six Flags, Believe it or not Museum, Walmart, Target, Hobby Lobby, etc etc. Believe me, after awhile Soba gets tiring, sushi gets tiring, it all just gets tiring. For me anyways, I could never live on an island again if it is by choice. I'm just fortunate enough to be moving soon to mainland where it will be another culture and new sites.
