Has anyone ever tried the 7 or 14 day cleanse before starting a diet? Do you think they helped. I wanted to use the Jillian one (trainer from Biggest Loser) and just wanted feed back. Thanks :)

Eat healthy and exercise. Why is that so complicated? Just eat healthy and exercise. Don't clense or take pills like a fVckin lazy person. Just eat healthy and exercise.

I want fast results!!! The faster you loose the weight, the faster you will gain it back! Pills aren't healthy for the body. Like Original DramLlama said, eating right and plenty of exercise!

I do all that I just didnt know if a cleanse would jump start it faster, its all over the TV even other programs then hers so I just wanted to see if anyone has ever tried them!

I've reduced my caloric intake from 3500 plus a day to a mere 1200. But 6 days of excercise a week also help.

I have a 1200 calorie diet and exercise 6 days a week, I was just wondering if a cleanse would help a little bit more.  I think really don't need anymore help if you are doing this. Especially if you are coming from a lot of calories to 1200.

Cleanses don't work. Your body naturally cleans out toxins and pretty much everything else on it's own. If you eat raw foods and drink lots of water for a couple days, you will be doing your body a bigger favor than giving it lemon juice and olive oil or a mix you buy from someone somewhere...

yep! exercise 6 days a week is the key and watch what you eat, right portion is a must, or if you're like me who can't say no to cocos once a week, run around the flightline 3 times a week.

watch what you eat, right portion is a must This! You could actually eat all you want, just means you're gonna have to work harder in the gym. Try to eat 6 controlled portions a day, while staying within your recommended daily calorie intake. Three of those meals should be hearty meals with the afternoon one being the bigger of the six portions, while the other 3 are reserved for shakes, fruits, and light snacks. Drink plenty of fluid and keep off the caffeine and sugar drinks after noon. Limit the intake of sports drinks like Gatorade to help rebuild electrolytes after strenuous activities. Finally, REST! A good nights sleep is the single most important factor in keeping yourself healthy overall. 5 to 7 hours of Deep Sleep a night is recommended. BUT PLEASE! Don't take our word for it, OU is not the place to ask anyone for any advice on health matters. See your local nutritionist or family doctor.

I actually just had this conversion with my doctor. She said unless you are having a colonoscopy done, there is no reason to put yourself through colon cleansing to start a diet. From previous experience w/colonoscopy, you don't want to colon cleanse unless you absolutely have to. HORRIBLE!!!
