My new meds make me feel exhausted. It is 7:07 and I am spent! I just want to climb in the bed right now but I can't because I am the only parent here right now.

Is it wrong that I am waiting on the kids to do something wrong so I can send them to bed early? They just ate and are taking showers and I have my ear angled in their direction to see if they start to argue once they get out. LOL

If I'm not feeling well or overtired, I don't even wait for them to do something wrong. I deem it a mommy night, and off to bed they go. I RARELY pull that "I'm the mom and I said card" but sometimes its necessary! 

I have been holding out all week but tonight I am so tired that I feel like crying. You know that feeling like you will never sleep again but you are so tired it feels like torture? That's me right now. 

Go get some rest. Put them kids down for the night and get some rest. You're a mom. You deserve it.

Aren't both of your kids under age 2? At that age, does it really matter? It's bedtime when you say it's bedtime.

I have put my kids to bed early many times when I needed some extra "me" time. (Mostly while the hubby was deployed.) We still do it sometimes, and they're 4 and nearly 2 now.

I see. And, I just think it's early due to my husbands schedule I suppose. We adjust our day to fit his a bit better so he has time with them. I guess it wouldn't be that early if he had a set schedule, but with him flipping shifts so much, it's just easy for them to adjust I guess. 

Only 30mins to go...wait what's that??? Darn they are just playing with the dogs...sniff 

Mine all go to bed at 8:30 and I am trying not to change their schedule while Big Daddy is gone. I have put them to bed earlier but IDK as long as they are behaving, I don't like kicking up their bed time ...buuuuut as soon as they do something I am justified LOL. 

I'm happy to come over and pick a fight between them. 

A little Benadryl has never hurt a child :) I am just saying :) 

I made it and now this Old Lady is off to bed. Benedryl you say...I forgot about that LOL.
