It is Saturday around 1:25pm, there has been little new activity/comments on OU so far today, except for the ongoing blah,blah,blah,etc, etc.

Maybe everyone went up to Nago City and/or Motobu for the Cherry Blossom festivals? Even though it is not sunny, at least the rain ended.
Hope everyone that goes has a great time and gets some awesome photographs.

If you have a bounce house he can stay about 6 hours and never know he is there. he hates cake and hates doing the present thing. So you can just leave him in the bounce house

On the NHK Okinawa TV channel 6:45pm News they just showed the opening ceremony for the Nago City Cherry Blossom Festival.
There was the ribbon cutting from the City Politicians and community leaders, the three "Miss Sakura" (the Japanese seem to usually have 3 girls/women for those Miss. _____ events), and some quick shots of the crowd, including many Americans.

One thing that was missing was the 'FULL BLOOM' cherry blossoms, a blanket of pink. The video clips of the stone stairs along the mountain showed many 'non-pink yet' trees.
They were able to have close-ups on some very nice trees that were in blossom.

Seattle airport still. Some asshat told us the plane arrives in Seattle at 1130 .....it get here at 930. my parents left early, but my guess is they won't make it here for another 20 minutes anyway.
