.....today is going to be a very long day. 

Today is going to be a wonderful day! Lunch and shopping and then going out tonight. Tomorrow is the beginning of our last week on Oki. How sad. Every day will be "Today is our last __________ on Okinawa." Plus, tomorrow is going to be a kick a$$ party! 

it better be. i wouldn't expect less from you. 

Free food and music. What could be better? Besides my company, of course.

I'll be screaming with delight if we have any nice weather between now and when we leave. My weather app is not showing anything very promising.

The beginning of Golden Week.

Many places will likely be crowded (more than usual) over the next week or so, and there will be more traffic with many tourists visiting.

There are many events happening, the big one is next week with the Naha Harii (Dragon Boat Races).

Unfortunately, the weather outlook is not good, with many days of cloudy weather, and some rain. 

yeah i just got here and my suite mate took me out on the town. Bar hopping and then ended up at a strip club... glad it was pay day ugh. Dropped too much money. Im also avoiding the banana show unless her daughter takes over. 

oh good call on that haha. When I heard I was coming here instead of Hickam that's all I heard about. Take the orders to okinawa you'll love it there I sure did. blah blah blah banana lady. blah blah blah... seriously everyone wouldn't shut up about the damn banana lady ahha. 

I still don't care to see the banana show. 

I made it our whole tour here without seeing it and I don't feel as if I missed anything.

Please people. If you don't have money in the bank then don't wait in line at the ATM just to verify that you indeed DON'T HAVE MONEY IN THE BANK! 

I was in line at the ATM the other day and this guy must have put in four credit/debit cards to get money. An older guy, obviously not military. He turned around to tell us the machine was really slow. 

I've been behind 4-5 different people since Thursday that put their cards in to take money away just to walk away empty handed saying it hadn't posted yet.

If you are that broke, you need to revisit things. 

All this talk of being broke and spending money makes me want to go panty shopping..
