My typhoon clean up.

We just purchased one of the gazebo type things about 2 weeks ago, and go figure, I already had to disassemble it for the typhoon.

I hope people learn from last time and reenforce their damn sheds, those things were all over the place.

And play yards, and recycling boxes, and trash bins... AND we had patio furniture fly into our yards.

My husband and i will be doing it tonight. EVerything goes into our shed (the one they have for you already) OR we put double/triple sandbags and put it out from the open...

Common Sense sure does go far people!

Many of the sheds that were destroyed were tied down and secure. The problem was that the type of sheds being sold were too "tight" meaning that they didn't allow for major pressure changes, thus many of them imploded.

Makes sense. I haven't known anyone with them, or even looked at them to see if they were good quality or not.

I just know there were scraps from quite a few blowing around.

And the damn recycling boxes were everywhere.

I think some of those were from the houses being renovated...at least in our area. We had one from the construction houses hitting our door last time.

We had pieces of a shed that went from in front of A to in front of C. Hopefully people will remember since it wasn't that long ago and secure their slides, trampolines, etc.

Out in Town the sell huge stakes and chains that are great to secure trampolines, ,my shed did not moved last time, but I think i had like 5 tie downs on it attached to fences and ground , and I parked the delica right in front of it, leaving only one side to take the wind. This time I have a few more things, but I think I will just put all the outside furniture and fountains inside the truck. My only worries is the giant glass doors and windowns

How does this help prepare for the typhoon? ;)

Once the AC goes out and it becomes a hot sweaty mess you won't want to do it. so get it out of the way now.. :c)
