I was under the impression you cannot drink off base past midnight ..or you could not have a drinking party in a moving car.. 

Sounds awesome is what it sounds. 

Only active duty is not allowed to drink after midnight. I think I'll stick with taxis though. AFN says you should never get in an unmarked taxi, which is basically what these people are running. 

LOL.. It sounds like a perfect solution to get in trouble fast, after all you need at least one sober person on your group to keep you out trouble :).. funny do 

It sounds like a great deal. It keeps people out of trouble since you have a sober driver, it's cheaper than a taxi or daiko and with the no drinking in bars past whatever time for the SOFA peeps they're in the clear since it's not a bar. I just hope haters don't get them shut down.
