So I was talking to a lady at the beach the other day and she mentioned there is a water park for little kids behind Naval Kadena sort of. Does anyone know where this is and how exactly to get to it? I know where Naval Kadena is, so directions from there would be fine. 

I've never seen one out there. But if anyone finds it put it up at OkinawaRedneck. What's that site again? I can't read! Why it's OkinawaRedneck

I'm pretty sure that's the one at Comprehensive Park. This one she was talking about is only for toddler age kiddos apparently which is why I was hoping to find it. If no one knows, we'll probably just drive back there and take a look. She mentioned it being right past a regular park.

It back by the seawall and the baseball fields back behind Navel Kadena. Just park in the public parking at Navel Kadena and walk back towards the seawall. Once you hit the baseball fields go left and follow it around and you'll see it on the right.

I'm not sure. I've seen it when we've walked the seawall. I'm not sure of the hours either.

As far as the one at Naval Kadena, while I've never been there, I have heard that they require the children to wear swim caps.

What...I have a tattoo around my ankle...can I get into comprehensive park? I remember a the Holiday Inn near Narita in Tokyo wouldnt let my hubby go in the pool with a tattoo.. I think you have to cover it with a bandage or something.. 

At Comprehensive Park they do have a sign that says if you have tattoos to try and cover them up, but I have 2 and went with a friend who has a few and no one said anything to us. I also saw some other people with them as well. But the water park there is great! It has 3 slides, a lazy river (bring your own inner tubes though for the river) as well as 2 kiddie areas. Right now it's only open on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, but still a great place. 

I really want to go to the Comprehensive Park one with my husband but we both have a few tattoos that are bigger and visible. I wonder if they'd say something. We'd have to be fully clothed with pants and long sleeved shirts for them to not be seen! 

Now I have to ask, what is Navel Kadena? Where is it at? Navel Kadena is like a mall. If you go towards Kadena Marina, you turn left at the light after Kadena Marina and it's right there in front of you.

We go to a lot of the bath houses/spas here on the island and even though they have signs up about tatoos, only once has anyone said anything to me about mine.
