It is being Knocked down as I type this.. Most people on Kadena have heard about this small house, number 2283. Located behind the Kadena USO, it is now used for storage because few people could stand to live there. The house is noticeably smaller than the others in the area because one room was so cold that no one could sleep there and it was torn down. And, to add to the horror, an officer killed his family and himself inside the house sometime in the early 1970s. Visitors are said to have seen a woman washing her hair in the sink, and heard children laughing or screaming. There has also supposedly been a sighting of a Samurai warrior who rides his steed through the living room. A Halloween séance was even held there on Oct. 31, 1994, in which an attempt was made to contact Harry Houdini. Although they didn't contact him, it is said that while those involved didn’t contact Harry Houdini as planned, they definitely did contact a spirit. And the batteries in several of the cameras used that night suddenly lost their charge. Whatever story you have heard, or perhaps believe, there is something strange about the house. Why board up a perfectly good home when a grateful family would gladly take it? Why does the USO use it for storage, and why do the employees there only enter in the daylight or in groups? Maybe someday the truth will be told about the house behind the USO. Haunted House Who's gonna take care of the garden now? 

It was demolished? I swear I saw it earlier. 

We were at the USO last weekend and I didn't notice any demolition equipment. But I wasn't exactly looking for it, either. 

I passed by it earlier and it is completely gutted out. A tractor was in front of it getting ready to knock it down. It is in fact, getting demolished.

Houses don't necessarily hold spirits. It's land that does it more often than not. If they rebuild, they'll probably have the same problem. Thinking this too.

That house needed to be torn down. It held bad juju. But as stated i think it's more the land than it is the actual "house" holding spirits. For any NON believers go over to the house and just simply touch it one time and see that you don't have bad things happen to you the rest of the day and future days to come. 

Where are you guys "hearing" about the missing workers, I'm curious?

I saw ghosts flying around over there when I drove by earlier. They were dressed really badly. Lol!
