I had to pay a bag fee like 3 weeks ago of 289.00 for 1 bag and it hasnt come out of my account yet, anyone ever had to pay for something at the airport like that? how long did it take? im so impatient and knowing its there makes me want to spend it. lol. 

Your bank doesn't show you an available balance? We have two balances when we go online; one is how much we have in our account, and the other being how much we really have to spend due to pending transactions.

We have to stay on top of our transactions. So I just keep a register in my wallet, and write down everything I spend. Sometimes out on town purchases take a while for them to clear, but if its written down, it gets deducted. I am a crazy organized person, so this is just my way!

$289 for 1 bag! That's crazy! Was there a body in there? nope..they charge 250.00 for the first bag youre over the limit.. I was told my daughter got a checked bag but apparently I got the wrong info and had no choice but to pay for that bag. 

What airline was this? 

China Air charges $50 for every 1 kilo over your allowed weight. 

I know with ANA, they allowed my daughter without a seat one checked bag during an international flight. That was last year though, and it was a small checked bag. When I switched over to Delta in Tokyo, they allowed me two checked bags for an international flight. 

My daughter didnt have her own seat. I was told even though she was a lap baby she would be allowed one checked bag, then when I got there they charged me..im not sure if I can do anything about it..because when I tried talking to the man who said I had to pay he didnt really understand and i needed that bag since we were moving back to the US without my husband..so I just paid. I was with ANA then American Airlines I think? does anyone have a 1800 number I could call ... I might be able to get a refund. Wishful thinking..
