You know who you are, I heard your son screaming for 10 minutes saying "no mommy no" and then heard the belt hit him. You bet your a$$ I called PMO. I cant believe you are pregnant with another kid you really think you need another one, when you cant even handle the 2 you have? Very mature. I thought it was funny that you came over and said "game on" it will be game on when CPS comes knocking at your door.
Very mature.
so you think it is mature to come on here and air out someone else's problem??
If you have issues with how some raises their child take up with them, instead of coming on here.
To the lady who was beating her kid with a belt.
Kudos to you...more people should do that now days, not to the point of abuse, but definitely to get the kids attention.
My parents beat me with a belt... or a wooden spoon... or whatever else. If it works, use it. There is a difference between abuse and discipline. Of course the kid is gonna be screaming no...

So wait...you are ok with it...yet you reported someone for it?
I got whipped with belts when I was a kid, lol. Never to the point of abuse though. I would cry my eyes out hoping not to get spanked. :[
I laughed.... So I got hit harder... I laughed again... So I was grounded. =-)
I think parents are allowed to discipline thier kids however and whenever they want......so long as it is not abuse. There is a difference you know.....Maybe you should learn the difference or perhaps if you know something we don't then post the entire story also not just that someone was spanking thier kid with a friggin belt.
Mind your own business. My kid screams bloody murder if you even threaten to spank her....should I have PMO called on me? For disciplining my child?......I think not.
It's an endless debate. There will always be someone that disagrees with something you're doing and consider it abuse.
LOL. That is true....but those people can go suck a big fat one....I discipline how I want. If i chose to use a belt (which i don't) but if someone does than that is thier decision. Some methods just work better I guess for some kids.
I don't think time out is a very good discipline method...but...It works for some people. And I have NO right to tell people they can not do it just because I don't agree with it.....See I am arguing...LOL. Endless debate as you stated. :-D
I don't care much for a mother who smacks her child in the face 3-5 times in row in the commissary... when she is too busy talking to people blocking an aisle anyway..
and all along the the child was trying to tell her the cart was hurting her leg..
Who was that?
I was in the commissary today and someones kid was SCREAMING bloody murder all through the shopping....all the way through the clerk checking her out....and all the way out of the commissary. I looked at my little girl and said...Thank-you for being a good girl. My daughter said "Naughy baby" (sp is how she says it...LOL)with a very serious voice. I LOL'd at her.

I always try to point out the kids that are WAY out of control and tell my son that this is what it looks like when he throws a fit. I didn't think it would work, but it actually does work for a while. I can't stand it when the kids are freaking out and the parent just keeps shopping like nothing is going on.
Have any of you ever thought about maybe, just maybe, that parent is trying to keep a handle on their kid, and maybe that's the best it gets right then?

im sure the mother was really enjoying her child throwing a fit. Maybe you shouldn't be so quick to judge.
