I am looking for pics of pets housing if anyone has any. The pics posted on the official site is the outside of the houses i wanna see what they look like inside.
Pets housing? It's either single units, duplexes or multiplexes which all allow pets OR towers which some do and some don't. So either you are lucky or you aren't.
I was trying to get hubby to let me find them homes here but he insists on us taking them. I have a bad feeling that it is going to take us forever to get us a house in pets housing. Are u in kinser? Do u have anyway of figuring out the wait list for pets housing. I am in pendleton so i can't call for the list.
Kinser mostly has towers (unless you have a certain number of kids) and I think there is only one pet friendly tower. I think you could possibly get housing on Foster but I'm not too sure...and I don't know the odds of you not getting towers on Foster too.
Wewould qualify for a 3 bdrm. Did i read ur last post correctly u get there in july/august? That is when we get there. When u say one pet friendly tower what do u mean? when i see pics of the place it just shows one big tower. Are there multiple towers or is it just the 1st floor that allows pets?
things would get too confusing.
this.. I thought Nicole was playing a trick on us.PCSING back from hawaii. Or maybe even talking to herself. has she gone nutty already.. lol
NikkiB is right. There is only one pet tower on Kinser. It is a 3 bedroom, but it is filling up fast. Other than the 4 bedrooms, that is the only place on Kinser that allows pets. They are also now enforcing the policy of no pets in non-pet housing, and people are getting waivers to move into the pet tower if they have pets, even if they don't qualify for 3 bedrooms. I think it will be full soon.
Since living off base is no longer an option, if it were me, I would probably get rid of my pets at home. Maybe a family member could keep them for the few years? In my opinion, that's better than finding a random stranger here to take them. At least you know they will be taken care of.
We don't have family here in Cali all of our family is in Texas. And how do i change my screen name? I wanted to find homes for them but he insists on taking them. And what he says goes even if he is wrong we have to go along with it until he figures out he is wrong on his own then we all get screwed in the end.
Yep it sure is the problem. If he goes somewhere for training before we leave for oki i am sure i could find them homes while he is gone i just can't do it while he is here. that would be a huge fight.
When we get there he will be on missions 8-9months out of the year so he will be gone 75% of the time. So i don't have to worry about fights too much. It will feel like a depolyment to me just focus on me and the kids.

I really hope you're joking.
I them both while he was on deployment so technically they are mine. And he ignores them all the time so i don't understand why he is so dead set on keeping them.

Well fighting i mean him yelling at me about how i did not do what he said to do
Personally, I think it would be much easier not to bring them. However, if you decide to...I wouldn't stress it too much. I think people like to make a bigger deal out of it than it is...I've never heard of housing NOT accommodating a family with pets. That being said they do discourage you from bringing them.

You will take what they offer you. If they offer you a non pet tower you will have to take them to Family Mart.
If he is dead set on bringing them, start to call airlines and find out how much it will cost to fly them in, plus the boarding cost once they get here while they are in quarantine. Plus if you get here and aren't in a pet friendly house, what will happen then? you can't just keep them...
So he need to realize how much it will cost in the long run. Its not cheap to bring a pet here.. Then to find out you can't keep it.. WOW....
I had already wrote down all the costs for shipping them over and the quarantine time and the cost for that and he is still set on bringing them. I will be sad to get rid of them but u have to do what u have to do to take care of family. The kids will be sad but you know what they will have to get over it. I wish i could find someone here that has already gone through that so they can tell him and it is not just coming from me. coming from me he thinks i am wrong, that is why he has to do things on his own even though i already told him.
