How inconsiderate of you to take the close parking spaces at the post office. I had to drag my babies across the parking lot-with crazy people driving because you lazy bums couldn't walk an extra few feet.

If you don't have to safely escort children to places, you should park further away. It only makes sense.

You should do the environmetally friendly thing and walk. It teaches your kids to be stronger too.

Meh, kids and moms could use the exercise.

Casey --- 13 years ago -

you're probably a fat SAHM that lets her kids run in front of the crazy post office traffic anyway...

;)

Is this the same a#uu person who sits with her friends and kids at Chilis during an extended lunch hour?
Or is this a new a#uu person?

We really need to enforce that new "account name" rule for OU!!

i'm glad that I am way to tired when i get off work to go to the post office. I do get up at 0430 work out then go to work. I am also to lazy on the weekends so i make the man get the mail.
I feel like this person is going to complain to just complain because she is an island princess.

DP... i think it's a joke, referencing the "SAHM" thread.

Did you go at lunch time? Because people with kids aren't even supposed to leave their house at lunchtime.

Casey --- 13 years ago -

i forgot to go to chili's today. we took a nap.

a3284715uu --- 13 years ago -

Of course I didn't go at lunchtime. I know my place. Why were all the people without children there when it wasn't lunchtime?

Freaky Biznatch Mstar --- 13 years ago -

I hope you aren't saying there were people there while they should have been at work!!

Plus she'll finally lose that "baby weight"

I like to double park just to make people mad.

I like to double park just to make people mad.

That an back in like all the cool people but all jacked up.. then get out and look at my car and be like sweet and walk off knowing my car is in like three spaces...
I do that here where i live too, so we will have two spots. I take up our numbered spot plus or visitor spot.. Hey we've been here two years all the new people can walk to their house like we did... Screw them.

Love the OP's post, classic!

I think when you have small kids you should park farther away. Gives them more practice that way. Older people don't need as much practice.

That gives me more time to run one of them over.

I park in the first spot I see.

Just the other day, I parked at our BX and walked to the commissary. That was a little bit of walk when I carried an armful if groceries. I just didn't want to repark my car after the trip to the BX.

The only time I truly want to park near a building is when I was going to the laundromat. I didn't enjoy making the trek across the parking lot more than once with baskets full of laundry. Other than that, I usually park kind of away from people.

I know. Those working people should just stay home.
