Well we are here...stuck in Seattle till Wednesday because Delta blows balls and so does the carrier the military uses but we are here...after a night of rest we are awake at 6 (I have been awake since 4 am) my huge swelling is now back to normal...the three year old has done great with all this...now if we can just get to KY and then to GA things will be fun! I miss Okinawa so bad already! 

You could try three days of traveling. Our flight got canceled due to weather and then we had to do an emergency landing due to weather. That was fun! 

Take advantage of Seattle. There are lots of great things to see there. Rent a car and go sightseeing. Go shopping at Pike's Market, drive through the mountains, Space Needle, aquarium, etc. Seattle is full of stuff do! 

Even if you don't rent a car, you can easily take public transportation to see the stuff downtown. I've done that twice and had a lot of fun both times!

Thank you all so much! We are going to go on a tour and maybe a mall...it's just frustrating...but hey you make the best of it! Hope you all had a great day in Okinawa! 

We had zero complaints with the carrier for AMC. Just think, the worst (AKA - longest) part of your flights is over. 

It appears that many Patriot Express passengers are 'stuck' in Seattle for 3 days after flying in from East Asia.

Perhaps it is part of a secret military-designed quarantine program to have the passengers detox and decontaminate in the Seattle area after returning to USA.
This is especially required for those that lived in Japan where they were subjected to horrific conditions such as having to make some off-base purchases in yen cash!! :-/ 

i'm going to be spending plenty of yen cash today... pedi's at cocoks. for the whole female family. poo brother in law will have to find something to do..

so it's 4:30 am the 3 year old and I are awake again...sigh...totally took a shuttle to the mall yesterday where I was so overwhelmed LOL :) we ate at RainForest Cafe and the girl loved it! Looked at cell phone plans...today we are thinking of taking a tour :) How you all doing in Japan?

LOL at sToO they just tried to screw us over with the whole AMC flight being delayed...we then found an AMC rep who got a Delta manager and we fly out tomorrow morning...we were gonna do a tour today however this pregamusprime is not feeling so well :( it's abbot 62* degrees here which feels great just not loving the drizzle...get to see my pugs tomorrow, our 3 year old can't wait for that! Got an email about our HHGs and where they are...other than that we are hanging out!

I CANNOT agree more. I've never had issues with Delta- but United- ugh... what a joke! 

Delta makes me laugh. I was looking at tickets for Seattle to Tucson. They wanted us to fly from Seattle to Atlanta to Tucson. wtf? 

American Airlines is what they put us on. Awful, awful flight. 

I don't remember what airline we flew from Seattle to Charlotte. This is what you all have to look forward to when you get older. Forgetfulness. Then every airline is the same!
