Hello all... we arrived to Oki 5 weeks ago and we are already missing the USA :(
So what are some good online retailers? We heard that oldnavy.com, jcpenney.com were good for clothes, amazon.com for books and teasie.com for lingerie... any other ideas?

not at all... we placed and order there and got it in 11 days last week. we heard walmart.com was not too good... anyone else had a bad experience with Wal-Mart? Also does anyone knows how could we get Trader Joe's items here? The Commissary at Kinser has a poor selection of organic goods.

Unfortunately they don't ship anywhere, I checked before we left CA. Boo. What kind of stuff are you looking for?

I have found some farmers markets and there is an organic veggie and fruit coop type delivery here on island 

Kadena has an ok selection,but that may be a bit of a drive...

I use a great deal of TJ's products, raw honey, gluten-free stuff, Hansen's Soda and my fav the Organic Mango Passion Granola cereal. I know I'm in trouble now lol

Weather sucks, prices suck, after six months you have done everything worth doing, you want anything worth a darn (edit), it has to be shipped, military everywhere you go, midnight curfew, crappy cars, crappy housing, everything is blamed on Americans, I think that about covers it. But, I'm sure there is much much more... 

Target and Children's Place (if you have kids). With Walmart, I do site to store and have my sister pick it up and then mail it to me. Takes a little longer, but better than paying their expensive shipping rates. 

There use to be a list on here where everyone posted who shipped here. 

Any idea where I can find that list Mr. Balls? Sorry to hear about your discontent with this assignment. 

Yen to dollar isn't the best, so shopping out in town is a little harder.

I know our commissary carries a lot of gluten free crap may not be the brand you want, but only two peanut butter subs. Which sucks balls for me.
