do you think weed should be legal? it is proven less harmful then drinking! What is your imput. (note this is JUST a poll nothing else!)

I'm a stoner so of course I answered yes. thank god im not the only one! LOL it really sucks that its illegal because now of my hubbys job we can't do it! Now.... time to make my point. thousands die each year from drunk driving when you are stoned you don't want to go anywhere you just want to sit there eat anything in sight and watch telletubbies! its safer. It can't give you liver damange its 100% safer then drinking! 

plus if its legal.....we would be getting good govt weed! 

I don't smoke myself...acute bronchitis problems...but, I'm a firm believer that what grows naturally isn't bad for you...I have friends with horrible ADHD and once he started smoking he was a much more fun person to be around lol 

Oh...and half my family are Native lol so ummm........we been smoking the peace pipe for many many years now ;)

But pot is a gateway drug according to experts. When I smoke I have no urge to go shoot up. Or chase the dragon. I just want funyons. 

I have never done weed, nor will I ever, but I voted yes. My opinion is that the only reason it is not legal already is b/c they don't really have a test they can do on someone right on the spot, like a breathalyzer. So, yeah, whatever.... lmao 

exactly honcho! i smoked from age 16 to 19 and i NEVER felt like i needed to take any other drugs! anything can make you hooked on other drugs. my brother said he got hooked on heroin from "pain killers" (the quotes are because we don't fully believe him) plus am i going to be the first one to say this.......... its safer then ciggs! 

I don't really care but I voted yes. I didn't like pot. I smoked a lot of it too but it always made me depressed.

I say no, I haven't try any of those but still, one of my friend said that smoking weed puts you in some kind of a in-between or something like that, I don't like that feeling I need my sanity intact. 

So...those of you that say "No"...do you drink? Have you ever been drunk? Ghien, a lot of people's smoking experiences are different. For me, I am still completely functional, and will take smoking over drinking any day. If you don't drink, more power to you in your answer, otherwise what do you think "being drunk" means that could also be considered a state of "in-between". I vote yes, I haven't since May 24 2008, and won't again since I'm trying to join the AF, but it should be legalized (even if not for our Armed Forces). (I just re-read this, I don't mean to be hostile at all) 

no, I don't drink Kathryn :( I'm a boring dork hehehe!! I don't smoke either. 

Oh, another point, with the smoking bans popping up in states (the most recent being in North Carolina) I think it will make it that much harder for weed to be legalized. 20 Hookah Bars are closing in NC, including some good friends...yet cigar smoking shops (where you go to smoke) are still allowed to be open. I don't know, just thought of this, and there might be some kind of connection down the line. 

I say yes. My dad smokes all time for medcial reasons but I think it would also help the economey (sp?). I have nvr had a bad experiance from smoking and if I could I would do it right now. 

I only smoked, I tried drinking totally not the same experience, and I like my liver. Lungs...well...we will see I guess. Since I first started smoking weed, I never got bronchitis again (a twice yearly occurrence for me for my whole life), thank you mother nature.

I agree with Kathryn...I don't smoke, mostly because jobs I've had my whole life depended on passing the UA lol and also because I didn't want to deal with the law just for a good time.... I do drink tho, and I enjoy it, tho we do it responsibly and I think smoking, if legalized, is just fine if you do it also...responsibly. 

We don't have to debate, we have politicians doing that for us...lol. I know that a lot of people might have more personal reasons to why they are against it, and thats totally cool. Its not like this is the post to decide it for real...:) 

I don't see a problem with it. I've smoked it and probably still would every once in awhile if it wasn't for the hubby's job and the fact that he doesn't like it. 

look girlie girl you are able to say what you want! no one will hate you for saying no. but it will be so much safer if they make it legal since tons of dealers will lace in bad things for your body. plus its so much easier to quit then ciggs. I found out i was pregnant (before i found out i was a MAJOR stoner) and i was able to quit on the spot and i havent done it since its recerational just like drinking.
