I just need to cry:( you know how they say absense makes the heart grow fonder? Well it's around the tome when Joe is supposed to be home, dinner isn't made and I am realizing now that he won't be coming home for a few days. I feel like there isn't any purpose to my day right now cause I anticipate him coming home. I washed my cell so the only thing I can do I wait for him to message me on facebook to tell me he got there alright. My movies aren't even NEAR done downloading so I'm feeling a little lost. All my friends have pcsed so as I am in the process of making new friends, I'm just missing my hunny bunny:( just needed to have my moment:( god would a bottle of wine come in handy right now!

LeavinOkiIn09 --- 12 years ago -

my hubby is gone too :( he will be gone for 3 weeks! I go crazy without him... and right after we PCS in October he will be deploying for 6 Months!! Like 2 months after our baby is born... I like having pity parties once in a while. I don't think I will EVER get used to military life... I like having him WITH me!!

*Shelbysmomma* --- 12 years ago -

well i thought i was your friend but you never wanna hang out. so i guess i was wrong:(* goes and cries in the corner*lol

Sara --- 12 years ago -

You poor thing. Have yourself a cry...lol. Sometimes it's all ya need! He'll be back soon!

Chancey♥ --- 12 years ago -

Awh my hubby has been gone for the last 2 weeks :[ But I am so excited to pick him up from the Airport tomorrow.

Julie --- 12 years ago -

I was there last week Airborne and will be again in November on my Birthday. It sucks. I always make it worse by watching a sad movie. What can I say I love to wallow..lol.

*CALI GIRL* --- 12 years ago -

oh that sounds so sad you make me wanna cry for you airborne wife.

AirborneWife --- 12 years ago -

Awwww Kim! You know your my friend but I hate crying to you ladies sometimes because I feel like I should have to handle it..liking breaking down isn't acceptable. My friend and her husband just left so now I'm feeling worse because I am very alone now. Besides, kimmy, you have your hubby and Shelby and the littlest one right now it would wrong of me to bring my pity party to you:) but I love you for caring!!!! Your too sweet;) when he went to rehab, I felt lost. Or when he came here and I was in NC, I felt lost. He's only going for 4 days but I feel lost:( Military wives ate supposed to be such strong women but take my hubby away, and I am weak:(

LeavinOkiIn09 --- 12 years ago -

Military wives ate supposed to be such strong women but take my hubby away, and I am weak:( seriously I am the same way... it just seems like everything goes wrong when hes gone.

Julie --- 12 years ago -

Military wives ate supposed to be such strong women lol, that's crap, we are suppose to pretend to be strong. We can cry to each other. That's always okay.

AirborneWife --- 12 years ago -

I know I'm extra extra hormonal right now but sometimes I wonder when my kids get older and have to say goodbye to daddy, how in the hell am I going to stay strong for them?

Julie --- 12 years ago -

it just seems like everything goes wrong when hes gone. yup, my husband was gone last week, so the car breaks.

Julie --- 12 years ago -

I know I'm extra extra hormonal right now but sometimes I wonder when my kids get older and have to say goodbye to daddy, how in the hell am I going to stay strong for them? I won't lie that is hard, but you'll find a way to explain it and you get them involved in sending care packages and stuff and it helps.

AirborneWife --- 12 years ago -

Cali, no crying for me. I'm doing enough crying for the lot of us!! Lol It would be easier if I had a girlfriend here with me but I don't:( and oh my god when I go to bed tonight, expect me on here again! Lol

AirborneWife --- 12 years ago -

Yeah ur right Julie..but eventhat first day, I am gonna wanna send them downstairs to watch tv and eat ice cream while I sit in the bathroom and have a crying session.

LeavinOkiIn09 --- 12 years ago -

I know I'm extra extra hormonal right now but sometimes I wonder when my kids get older and have to say goodbye to daddy, how in the hell am I going to stay strong for them? i think the same thing!! I'm 6 months prego and my hubbys deploying right after the baby is born... My hubbys gonna miss so much!!

Julie --- 12 years ago -

Yeah ur eight Julie..but eventhat first day, I am gonna wanna send them downstairs to watch tv and eat ice cream while I sit in the bathroom and have a crying session. that's my method for every deployment too. It does make you feel better.

AirborneWife --- 12 years ago -

It's only 4 days!!!!! I shouldn't be like this!!!! 4 days is nothing!!!! But then again.... Without my love, I'm nothing:( I guess it's because I am alone...and thinking. My mother always warned me not to do that! Lol

Julie --- 12 years ago -

My mother always warned me not to do that! Lol lol, I'm the same way. I told my husband I need to find some drama free friends fast so when he leaves I can get out and enjoy life. It's hard though, I've met quite a few people that cheat on their spouses and we don't get involved in that crap.

Nordellsrule --- 12 years ago -

Mine is gone right now and I won't lie it sucks. We are at the end of his 4 month TDY which is nice. But it has been hard. I love my husband and I love spending time with him and I totally feel lost when he is gone. Being able to Skype has been a total lifesaver. This is the first TDY he has been on that I haven't been pregnant and I have to say it is easier. I could barely function when he was gone and I was pregnant - stupid hormones. The downside this time is I have 2 kids I am suppose to take care of by myself. It is hard to be the only parent when you are use to having someone to lean on. Oh and I totally cried in front of them when he left. I don't see anything wrong with your kids knowing how much you miss your husband. I am sorry you are sad but believe me that about 75% of that is your hormones. I don't have much advice on how to feel better but definitely avoid any romantic movies they will just make you feel worse!

Romanichel --- 12 years ago -

it just seems like everything goes wrong when hes gone. I think so too. My husband left and my puppy died :(

AirborneWife --- 12 years ago -

Julie, I know EXACTLY what you mean. Alot of girls don't wanna hang out with me cause I am sort of a....what's the word.....home body! Lol. We go out every once in a while but we are beat suited at the home, drinking a few beers and watching movies. Alot of our friends are fine with this but some of the ladies I have met aren't. With the exception of Kim and Momma Edmunds. Those ladies are awesome:) I feel bad because some of you ladies have husbands deployed for months and here I am crying about 4 days! If they wanna tell me to shut up, I would totally shut it! Lol

Romanichel --- 12 years ago -

No way. You have just as much right to cry over 4 days as 8 mths.

AirborneWife --- 12 years ago -

Awwww roman: good for you! I give mad props to any woman who does it with kids. I will be one of them one day for sure. And I am sooooooo sorry about your puppy:( that must be hard. Did you get it from one of the puppy stores here? If so, I had heard of that happening a few times and no one should have to endure that.

Romanichel --- 12 years ago -

Yep I just got it 4 days ago, but it didn't take but 1 day to love him. I got him from OPC out in town. He just started haveing ( I don't know how to spell it) sezuiers... or how ever you spell it. then he died..

Nordellsrule --- 12 years ago -

I feel bad because some of you ladies have husbands deployed for months and here I am crying about 4 days! If they wanna tell me to shut up, I would totally shut it! Lol Oh my goodness I would never tell you that! To me it makes no difference how long my hubby is gone - 4 days or 4 months it sucks either way! It is all what you are use to and ok with. I love my husband and I would spend everyday all day with him if I could.

Kitten17 --- 12 years ago -

He just started haveing ( I don't know how to spell it) sezuiers... or how ever you spell it. then he died That made me sad :( My husband was gone 2 weeks and I swear everything went wrong. Then on top of everything else the day he was coming home my dog whom we have had 2 years started shaking and had a really bad seizure. I was in hysterics. He is ok now but he has never done that before.

LeavinOkiIn09 --- 12 years ago -

thats so sad Roman... I love my puppies like my children :(

AirborneWife --- 12 years ago -

Oh my gosh that is horrible!! I can't believe thr happened to you. And you have kids too right? I am so sorry yall had to go through that. I feel better talking to you ladies. Even though it's not face to face it still makes me feel better having other wives to talk to. THAT is why I come on this site. I think I would feel better if I had heard from him by now. But that's the motto of the military...hurry up and wait!

MOMZ --- 12 years ago -

Without my love, I'm nothing:( I guess it's because I am alone...and thinking. My mother always warned me not to do that! Lol You have bigger and better things now. Like that life growing inside of you. Just think of that little being. ;)
