As a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?



My dream was to be a lawyer or stock broker only because they got to carry a briefcase, look cool in a fancy suit and made lots of money like on TV. 

i wanted to be an ordained internet minister.

I wanted to be a lawyer up until about 9th grade and then it changed to a public speaker and well that is basically what I did before we moved here. I work with MCCS and train Marines/Sailor's with pre-deployment stuff, marriage, durgs and many other things....right now I'm just on leave without pay status until a spot opens up and then I will be going back to work. 

I wanted to be a teacher until about 8th grade. Then I wanted to be a lawyer, and I still do, but law school and the military lifestyle don't really go together very well. My degree is in Criminology and I'm hoping to get a Paralegal degree soon so that when we get back to the states I can still work in the legal field, even if it isn't exactly what I want to do.

I think you're charming. 

I really wanted to be a pilot from the time i was a little kid. I am working on trying to get the Army to accept me as a warrant officer. If they wont, I am also working on my degree in aeronautics and my private pilots licence so hopefully I can build enough hours to go through the whole CFI to ATP pipeline. 

I wanted to be a veterinarian. Glad I never chose that field. The only animal I like really is a cat.

Then later on I wanted to be a professional cheerleader. Again, thank goodness that was a phase. 

Ha ha yea it was a lawyer/stockbroker until I went to high school and took a couple of animation classes until 12th grade, now I want to be a digital animator so I can make movies, or help in the creation of movies so my future kids can enjoy them.

I thought my senior year I wanted to become a social worker. I did my senior class project on it. It was just too sad for me.

I still don't know what I want to be. :| It is quite fustrating.

i have wanted to be a paramedic since i was 16 or so. still do. still working on it. 

I've always wanted to be some kind of Doctor, I really love surgery. Then I went to hygiene school and I was introduced to Smile Train organization. Now My goal is to get through Dental School, and be oral and maxillofacial surgeon. It's not all about pulling teeth. 

I wanted to be a ditch digger, but I grew out of that phase and decided to join the military. Huge step up, well, not really. 

I wanted to be an entomologist 'til I was like 10... then a paleontologist until 15 or so, and finally moved on to computers when they became more mainstream.

I wanted to do this too but then I was told I had no patience to do such a job. Way to shoot me down, mom!!

Then I wanted to be a storm chaser.

Then a teacher.

Then a nurse.

Then a forensic anthropologist.

It changes often. 

ha i wanted to be a storm chaser at one time too. then i realized i'm terrified of tornados, once i really got in to learning about them. 

Fashion designer. I'm a self taught taught seamstress, and launched my own line of boys clothing when my son was little, but he's since grown out of that sort of thing, but we did have a lot of fun with it!
