Apparently there are a lot of lazy people where we live. Lazy as in, they live on the lower floors, but they must park their cars in the 15 min. parking right outside the door ALL DAY. There are people here that I have honestly never seen walk to their car. They always have it parked there. And when they aren't parked there, they try and steal your numbered spots up front rather than park two rows back in an empty spot. 2 rows people. Holy crap. Sorry for the inconvenience that we caused you by moving in.
No I totally agree with you on this. There is a reason why they have our spots numbered. I geuss as children they were never taught manners. And how not to take something not theirs.
I don't care so much about that, it just appalls me that they can't seem to find enough energy to walk to the parking lot. And you know back home they went to walmart ALOT. How on earth did they cope?
Unless they're unloading groceries/heavy things/are visibly trying very hard to get out of the space. Sometimes it takes an extra couple of minutes.
Possibly. But considering that this one person in particular leaves it there from like 8 a.m. until about 5 p.m. I'm going to go with no. Oh, and even if I were to go with the idea that whatever it is that she is unloading every day is SO enormous it takes that long, I've never seen her load anything. Her husband does it for her.

I live off-base and don't have a parking problem but I do have a problem with the people that cant seem to understand glass goes with metal in one bag and paper goes with plastic in the other. The garbage guys wont take it and they leave it out to cause bugs and rodents, not to mention the cats drag it out.
People here don't even bother. Some people do, but most of the trash bags are full of cans, cardboard...etc. It's not like we have to make an extra trip to recycle it.
If she is parked in the 15min parking and its not your car then who cares?! There are people in my tower that park there all day but they arent bothering me and its not my ticket. Get over it!

I'm guessing you probably are the culprit. If not here, than at one of the other buildings. lol.
I have the same issue in my tower this guy always parks in the fire lane! He's a grown man about 6 foot 3, built like a rock...and can't walk from his spot to the tower. He parks there every single night all night. When we had a fire drill, he took forever coming down and the firefighters were just standing next to his car waiting for him. A week later he was parking there again.

If there is a fire and the firetruck is blocked out of the lane because of lazy people, they're endangering everyone else.

Yea totally. Um, no. I just dont think its a big deal for you to complain when its not your car nor your ticket. If you have such a problem with it then go say something to her!
Not the fire lane. Although people use that here for the 15 min parking because there are a few people here who constantly block that.
I'm not going to say anything to her. If she can't understand that she prob shouldn't park there, then talking to her isn't going to make the lightbulb go off lol.
So I just got back from the lovely BX and had a parking issue. A Japanese MAN was getting out of his car as I was driving by looking for parking. I'm pregnant and enjoy using the Expectant Mothers space during the middle of the day...guess where he was parked!! Yea I doubt he is knocked up!! So I put my car in park and pointed out politely that it said "Exp mother" and I explained what it meant by pointing to my belly and saying "baby". I knew he probably didn't know what the label meant and that I didn't need to flip out yet. He didn't move...a$$hole I hope he had fun buying cheap American stuff just to resale later. I however had to park way out and almost peed on myself walking to the BX.

I park there and in officer's spots all the time because these spots literally cannot be reserved like that, legally. If you're knocked up, learn to walk. Same with officers. I'm glad he f*cked you over.
I'm pretty sure legality isn't thought of when making those particular spots.
Nah. It isn't. If I'm going to be in and out, it's stupid to spend 3 minutes looking for a parking space when the ones up front are rarely used at the times I go.
Lazy people suck. get your fat butt in the car and move it to the designated parking spot. No wonder there's so many fatass people walking around on base, What's next? Using those motorized mart carts because they don't wanna walk... better yet, having someone else chain you to their motorized cart and pull you around the store? I also hate it when people park their cars in handicapped parking spots and don't have a handicapped sticker/sign. Sheesh, have some respect for your elders or someone who truly needs it.
